Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim toch niet op ADE

Om productionele redenen hele Southern Fried Records Party gecanceld in Paradiso

Met grote trom kondigde het ADE en Paradiso aan dat Norman Cook aka dj Mighty Dub Katz aka Fatboy Slim op zou treden. Nu is de gehele nacht in Paradiso gecanceld. Maurice Spijker van Mojo: “Ik kan nog niets zeggen over de reden”.

De Southern Fried Records Party die op 19 oktober zou plaatsvinden met naast DJ Mighty Dub Katz aka Fatboy Slim veel andere Britse dj’s, gaat niet door. Dat heeft het ADE en boekingskantoor Mojo vandaag bevestigd. De avond zou om ‘productionele redenen’ niet door kunnen gaan. DJ Nathan Detroit, DJ Touché (uk) DJ Unabombers and friends en Deadly Avenger zullen niet te zien zijn. Mojo woordvoerder Maurice Spijker: “Ik kan nog niets zeggen over de reden.”

Er zal een volledig ander programma worden ingericht, met nader te noemen dj’s en artiesten. Het officiele persbericht van Southern Fried luidt:"Essential production elements related to the show could not be delivered specific to the Southern Fried night and Management, Artists and the Paradiso thought it wouldnt do justice to the show to continue with this night. Apologies to any Southern Fried fans who bought a ticket already, but unfortunately this is the situation."
