Het onderstaande lijstje is slechts bedoeld als hulpmiddel, natuurlijk mag je zelf releases inbrengen die niet in het overzicht staan. Er is wel aantal regels waar je lijstje aan moet voldoen.
• De bands moeten afkomstig zijn uit Utrecht (stad of provincie) en het moet gaan om een release uit 2012.
• Van elke artiest of band mag maar één nummer in je lijstje voorkomen.
• Maak van je lijstje echt een top 5, met op 1 (of bovenaan) je absolute favoriet.
Maak verder een lijstje van liedjes en niet van albums, het gaat immers om de verkiezing van de Song van het Jaar. Mocht je toch albums erop zetten, dan zullen we zo vrij zijn om van dat album een nummer te kiezen dat we meetellen voor de Top 030.
Albumtracks zijn welkom ter afwisseling, maar als iedereen de meest obscure nummers van een album inzendt, is het erg moeilijk om er een jaarlijst van te maken. Probeer daarom – als de muziek zich ervoor leent – om minstens drie singles in je lijstje te verwerken.
De deadline voor het insturen van de lijstjes is 2 januari 2013. Kort daarna zal de complete Top 030 hier terug te vinden zijn. Dan wordt ook bekend welke artiest de Utrechtse Song van het Jaar op zijn/haar naam kan schrijven. Dat wil zeggen: als de mensheid dan nog bestaat, natuurlijk.
