Hit the North heeft de selectie voor 2019 bekend gemaakt
YVI, Woe Blind Birds en Lester Blackfield vertegenwoordigen Friesland
Hit the North, het talentontwikkelingstraject van Eurosonic Noorderslag, Popfabryk, POPgroningen, Kunst & Cultuur Drenthe en Into The Great Wide Open, heeft zojuist de selectie voor 2019 bekend gemaakt. De deelnemers zijn namens Friesland YVI, Woe Blind Birds en Lester Blackfield. Nadua, Mary Confurius, Daisy uit Drenthe en de Groningse acts: Meadowlake, Small Town Bandits & Cirrus Minor.
Hit the North is opgericht om het ontwikkelen van professioneel talent te stimuleren in Groningen, Friesland en Drenthe. De noordelijke popcultuur is uniek, maar vaak ervaren artiesten vele moeilijkheden die ze tegenhouden van een echte doorbraak. De nieuwe selectie start hun Hit the North traject met showcases op House of the North 2019 tijdens Eurosonic/Noorderslag 2019.
