Death Alley zet bassist aan de kant
Hardrockers cancellen shows
Afgelopen vrijdag cancelden hardrockers Death Alley op het laatste moment twee shows in Bergen op Zoom en het Duitse Munster. Even later bleek waarom: de band heeft besloten verder te gaan zonder bassist Dennis Duijnhouwer. Een statement van de band is er tot nu toe niet, maar Duijnhouwer zelf bevestigt zijn onvrijwillige vertrek uit de band op zijn Facebook.
'Yesterday I got blindsided by what I thought were my best friends, my supposed 'brothers' in Death Alley, the band I've dedicated my entire being to for the past three years. I got kicked out of my own band by people I trusted with my life and who I would've taken bullets for', aldus Duijnhouwer op Facebook. 'Now I will be the first to admit I'm not the easiest guy to be in a band with, especially in the stressed out and exhausted condition I've been in since September coming home from the US tour, but instead of just cancelling a tour or recording session and allowing me to take a much needed breather, they have chosen to sacrifice another original member in order to be able to continue their 'career'.' Death Alley had net vorige maand een live-album van hun Roadburn-show uit 2016 uitgebracht en was begonnen aan een tour. In het najaar zou de band met Duitse soulmates Kadavar op tour gaan.
