Wederom werden records gevestigd en gebroken, reputaties gemaakt en beschadigd en luisteraars gevleid en geschoffeerd. In de harde strijd om een plaats in de toptien vielen vele voorspelbare winnaars af en drongen andere onverwachte nieuwkomers zich naar voren, maar lieten ook oudgedienden ineens weer van zich horen.
